ABS Symbols

The American Eagle symbolizes many things to many people.

The ABS logo represents the eagle in flight with the universe of customers we support.
Therefore, the American eagle also symbolizes our core values. We live by them everyday and by doing so we trust that our actions will show ABS cares!

In 1984 ABS developed one of the first PC based software programs for loan and collateral documentation exceptions called DAudit. Today BankManager Exact is offered in a Windows based format that incorporates document imaging to complete the electronic credit file.

In 1987 ABS launched its laser documentation module and now incorporates that popular standardized loan and deposit documentation within a Windows loan and deposit product called GulfPak. GulfPak is offered in some 17 states throughout the South and Midwest. ABS currently maintains the compliance responsibility for Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Colorado and Nebraska. Over 250 financial institutions have chosen ABS' GulfPak as their platform for originating loans and deposits. Competitive pricing, ease of use plus superior service and support are just a few of the reasons why the switch was made to GulfPak.

In 1993, James Bruce Jr., President of JW Bruce & Associates acquired ABS. At that time, ABS still sold document preparation and tracking systems and a manual filing program. It had a solid 60-70% market share among Oklahoma community banks and a few clients outside the state.

In 1999, ABS moved into a custom-built headquarters in northwest Oklahoma City. ABS partnered with Gulf Guaranty Life Insurance in Jackson, Mississippi, to bring its ComplianceProducts to a wider market. Soon after, ABS launched Windows-based BankManager, The Electronic Workstation of the Future to replace manual filing systems. This allowed ABS to expand into Midwestern states and across the country.

In 2000, ABS acquired US Proactive of Atlanta, Georgia, and began offering CompliancePro®. Later ABS formed an alliance with Make Technologies in Vancouver, British Columbia to revamp CompliancePro® with browser technology. CompliancePro® made ABS the leading provider of automated regulatory compliance monitoring software.

In 2008, ABS entered into a strategic partnership with Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, adopting its ComplianceOne system for documentation.

In 2009, ABS offers clients access to a broad array of compliance systems and services with a staff committed to "high touch" support.
