We are excited to tell you about an important milestone in our business.
American Bank Systems, Inc., is partnering with Wolters Kluwer Financial Services
(WKFS) in a comprehensive joint marketing arrangement. WKFS is a premier provider
of compliance and technology solutions to the banking industry with a history similar
to ABS which dates back for more than 50 years. WKFS touches over 8,000 community
bank clients through their cornerstone brands, Banker SystemsTM and GulfPakTM,
and a very wide range of solutions for lending, deposit, mortgage and IRA lines
of business and more.
This new joint marketing arrangement makes sense for both companies and, most of
all, for you since our product/system offerings are complementary and our value
propositions similar – powerful, easy-to-use technology solutions backed by highly
personalized services and support. This partnership provides both of our companies
an opportunity to expand our solutions through integration, as well as help serve
our current customer base.
Under this expanded partnership, ABS will be referring the wide range of WKFS products
to our customers. This will include WKFS’ new ComplianceOneTM solution,
which was released in 2007. ComplianceOne has significant advantages over our documentation
solution, which was a compelling factor in our decision. In turn, WKFS will be referring
to ABS' BankManager® document management solution, which integrates
into the ComplianceOne solution, as well as referring our CompliancePro® enterprise
compliance risk management and monitoring system to their customers.
Going forward, our clients who are using the GulfPak platform with our compliance
content will be transitioned to the ComplianceOne solution. This transition is scheduled
to be completed as soon as possible. During the transition, the ABS customer care
team will continue to support your GulfPak system. As clients transition to ComplianceOne,
the WKFS support team will take on support. The WKFS and ABS teams will be working
together to ensure a smooth transition to the ComplianceOne solution.
We are confident that our valued customers will benefit from this strategic partnership
between ABS and WKFS. We know that it will be a good step forward not only for our
